Oh, I forgot to mention the three biggest issues, which also happen to be the first three issues to present after starting TRT.
1) my insomnia started getting much worse. I've had a hard time getting to sleep every single night since I started.
2) my overnight resting heart rate increased dramatically - my average lowest before TRT was consistently (meaning, for years) averaging around 53-55bpm. SInce starting? My lowest has been averaging 77-80bpm (meaning it never got lower, but was often higher than that overnight).
3) to go along with that, my average HRV (heart rate variability) was consistently between 28-32 for the years previous (the higher it is the better, and the more recovered you are). Since starting? averaging 15-16 with one night being down to 12, which means my body was working very hard to repair some kind of damage/issues of some sort?
My only thought is that maybe, when my T was so low before, I was unable to fully repair my body on an ongoing basis, but now that I have a better hormone profile, my body is trying to do 'catch-up' work, if that makes sense? I sincerely hope it's that, and that things level off soon, because sleeping this poorly sucks, and is obviously affecting both my physical body, and my mental state.
Sometimes I wish I wasn't me.
