(2nd today)
Read an article today that people are actually suing our governor over the 'stay-at-home' order, for infringing on their 1st & 2nd amendment rights (2nd, because the governor closed gun shops).
I think these are some of the stupidest, most selfish people I've ever seen, and I'm fucking angry at them.
Since nobody knows whether they're infected/contagious for up to weeks before they show symptoms (if they show symptoms at all), there's no way for them to know if they might pass it on to others. So, in essence, they're saying that their right to assemble is more important than anyone else's right to health.
They're actions at that point, in defying the 'shelter-in-place' order, means that if they infect anyone else (and subsequently anyone that person infects) and any of those people die, I think they should be charged with murder, one count for each fatality they can be tied to, as it was an intentional act of disregard for public safety. You want to congregate? Congregate with the violent offender felons in prison.
Stupid fucks.
