Been out for drinks several times in the last week or two, and to be honest, I'm kind of over it. I wish I had a couplefew friends with whom I could hang out & converse without everyone drinking. Still don't have that option at this point.
A couple of good things happened this weekend though - 1) I sold my old drum set today, got a few hundred for it, so there's some more money for cycle accessories, or whatever else I might need. 2) On Saturday, I did another strongman-style workout. Most of it was average, but my deadlift went up 20lbs to 335. That means I'm only 30lbs off of my all-time max, so I'm feeling pretty good about that, especially considering I haven't been eating very well, and have been drinking so much (relatively speaking).
I keep trying to find things to do, but nothing sounds fun/interesting to me right now. I have a lot of cleaning to do around the house as well, but haven't been able to bring myself to do much of it. Sometimes it's hard to find motivation to do much of anything... p.s. just noticed that as of Friday evening, I've lived 6 months longer than I'd expected to. 182 days as of today, to be exact. Not sure why I bring this up, but there it is...
