Finally, I think I've found a correlation between the variability of how many drinks I've had, compared to how I feel the next morning. Some nights, I can have several drinks & be fine the next day; others, only a couple will make me feel like shit.
I had a really good (but tough) workout last night, after which I took a long walk. Stopped up to the Well a bit later to fill my growler & had a pint, then thought I'd go downtown for another; only got a 12oz there, then came home.
I felt like shit this morning! Less than two full beers? So what I'm thinking is, when I've had a low stress day (physical or mental) I'm usually fine, but high stress (like my workout) means it's much harder to recover from both. This is a little concerning, because now I wonder if one or more of my systems are functioning at less than optimal levels. I guess one of these days I should go in for a physical. No need at this point though; if I make it another eight days, maybe I'll consider it.
