1) Was 53° today when I got out of work, and the roads were snow-free. Rather than hit my workout, I decided to postpone it & get the cycle out, as I hadn't been out yet this month. There was a light rainfall so I had to wear my gear, but it was so nice I got by without gloves! Managed to put on a little over 10 miles before I decided to head home. An hour later, it started raining, and has ever since. My riding intuition is still sharp as ever!
2) Got all the screens cleaned out of the faucets at the old house & everything works/there are no leaks! Got pretty lucky, I guess. Only thing left to do is remove the lines for the water filter system & install the soap dispenser. Once it's all working, I'm probably going to winterize the place. If I do, I'll be able to shut off the heat completely, which should save me some money. I just need to buy some "RV" antifreeze? (That's what I was told, I need to look into it.) Then (maybe this weekend?) I want to get the fence down & modified. Hope it doesn't get too cold again.
3) 2nd week back into lifting, and things are improving. I just hope shit doesn't keep popping up that demands my attention & makes me miss workouts. Still have a long way to go, but feels pretty good.
4) I made another "retirement" worksheet. It calculates how much you'll have saved by when you want to retire, then calculates, based on your desired monthly income, how long your money will last & shows it by year (including interest gains each year after retirement). I sort of ripped it off from an online website, but corrected some things that were wrong/added some options that I thought would be helpful. If anyone wants a copy & has any version of Excel newer than 2007, send me an email.
