There are two things that are slightly irritating me today... 1) I went to two furniture stores last night looking for a sectional for the LR, but found absolutely nothing I liked, let alone that was in my price range. I'd prefer not having to order something online that I've never seen, because I'm leery of getting a piece of junk. 2) I can't seem to decide on a colour scheme for my bedroom. If I can find it, I'll post a link to an interactive room scheme designer, and will list the colors I'm considering. If you feel like messing around with it a bit & offering up some thoughts, I'd love to hear/see them!
As I'd gone out looking for couches last night, I didn't get my workout in, but am planning it for tonight when I get home. Hopefully I'll have enough time afterwards (before the stores close) to check a couple other stores to see if I can find anything I like. As for the workouts, I'm still taking it easy, and it seems to be helping, because I haven't really had the soreness/back issues I've had in the past when starting back up with the exercising. I'm also trying my best to not go overboard on what I'm doing, just sticking to the three basics for each alternate workout so I don't burn out. I found out last night that my scale is dead (a long time ago, I bought one of those 'body fat analyzer' scales with the electrical impedance pads). I'm glad I bought it back then, because I learned a bit, but overall, it was a waste of money - this time I'm just going to buy an old analog scale & be done with it. No batteries, no electronics to go bad... I want to know when I hit 210# again, so I can at least see a show or two! I think, even if I do go out for some shows, I'm still going to swear off bars for meals indefinitely, as there's really nothing healthy I can get there, not to mention the outrageous expense. I did, however, break down & buy a six-pack, but rather than buy something easy to drink, I got Guinness Extra Stout. I love the taste, but I really can't drink more than one. I figure this is a good way to keep my consumption down, yet still 'treat' myself, as I do enjoy a good beer. Hopefully, this will be the 'happy medium' I've been looking for, a fair balance between not drinking at all & having a few too many...
