There was a competition going on today at the strongman gym, so I had to do my workout at home. I didn't mind at all because I got to do things that I wanted, rather than what the group had planned.
I hit two PRs (personal records) today - one was in sumo deadlift, and I finally pulled 315lbs! I've been stuck at 305 for several months, so it was good to hit a nice round number (meaning; bar=45#, and each big plate =45#, so it was the bar with three plates on each side). My conventional deadlift is not much higher than that right now - I think it's at 335#, but I need to test it again sometime.
The other lift is called a power-clean, and I finally managed to get 135# on that after about a year of training it on & off. It's a new move for me, and my flexibility when landing it on the shoulders has always been poor, but that's also improving, so I'm pretty pleased!
I also did a few yoke runs, but nothing impressive, so I won't list the numbers. Anyway, today's workout felt really good, and I'm happy with my progress since starting trt. I'm due to raise my dose in the next week or so (maybe tomorrow?) so I'll be interested to see how that affects things.
