Tried to go to bed last night around 8p, but couldn't find a pain-free position, so back to the floor I went. Around 10p though, over the course of about 3-5 seconds, I felt something 'relax' in my back, and the intensity waned to a dull ache, which was quite a relief. Headed back to bed shortly thereafter, and even though the ring data said I only slept 4 hrs, I felt like I slept well. Really hoping for a full night's sleep tonight!
Also, something about this reminded me of how I felt after eating wheat. I was thinking about it, and realized I had a slight binge on ice cream that Friday, so I'm wondering if I'm having a similar digestive reaction to too much refined sugar? I've cut out most all of it now; just a little in my coffee, oatmeal, and what's already in the yogurt I'm buying, although I may drop that as well.
As an aside, I had a mutual match on a dating site. She replied to my message on the 24th. I was waiting to reply once I felt better, as I thought I would come across poorly while in such pain. I logged on today to find that she'd messaged again on the 26th, saying (paraphrasing) 'it was nice to almost meet you, good luck in your search'. Really? What happened to patience? Anyway, I replied & told her that I hadn't been feeling well and would still like to talk, but understood if she'd moved on. Might not have been the best way to put it, but if she's that impatient, maybe it's a good thing we don't talk?
I don't know, and maybe I just don't care anymore. Maybe dating just isn't for me.
