It's been a struggle for me the last couple days to take it easy. I've been wanting to get back to my workouts, but am trying to be smart about it. I do think I'm going to try a few things out tomorrow though, because I'm beginning to feel lazy & weak.
I've also fallen a week behind on my current workout plan, and I'm torn between trying to catch back up, pushing the schedule out by a week, or just giving up on this cycle & starting something new. I've been doing this strength routine for 3 months, which is a good time frame, but had planned on 4 months, after which I have another, different type of routine planned out. So, maybe I'll take a 1 month "maintenance" break? Might be a good idea, as my diet has been absolutely terrible, and maybe this could help motivate me to get things back in order in that respect as well?
Btw, still talking with 2 women on the dating site, and wrote to another tonight. Have tentative plans to meet one in her hometown in a few weeks (she's busy with her daughters' extra-curricular activities), and the other isn't really interested in dating right now, but she's learning guitar & is looking for 'guitar friends', which is cool with me. (I was kind of on the fence about dating her anyway, so that's resolved itself.)
I've been finding myself somewhat concerned regarding dating though. I've dated and/or known a few women that I think were/are amazing, and my worry is that when I meet someone new, I'll be tempted to compare that new person to them (even if subconsciously), and that I might not give them the chance they deserve if they don't 'measure up', so to speak. Anyone have any suggestions regarding that?
