It was 'warm' in the garage for my workout today (30°F), and not only did my workout go well, I didn't feel very cold for a change. In fact, after not having the mental energy to do so for a few weeks, I managed to get back in my cold tub tonight. 45°F water, temp, 28°F outside air, and I stayed in for 3 minutes.
The 1st five seconds were a bit of a shock again, but my body/mind calmed down really quickly after that, and it was enjoyable. I wanted to stay in longer, but I continue to be concerned with remaining cold all night, so I'm trying to be cautious. I took a warm shower about 5 minutes afterwards, both to wash off the chlorine, and to help me warm up again. After about 10 minutes in the shower, I let it get a bit hot, and it was lovely! Right now, I feel comfortable, and I think I may actually sleep well tonight, which would be welcome, as last night's sleep was poor. Overall though, since January, my sleep has been getting progressively better, so I'll call that a win too.
I wish I had less-mundane things about which to update, but this is my life now.
