Oh, almost forgot. When I got home tonight, it was almost 60°F and really sunny, so I changed out of my work clothes & headed out on the cycle. After a quick errand, I was on the road out of town & spent the next couple hours riding back roads, just over 50 miles.
Did you know that mild hypothermia is possible in 60° weather? At least, I think it is, because while I was fairly warm on my ride, when I got home I got super chilled. Was so bad I came inside & immediately took a hot shower, stayed in for a good 30 minutes too. Finally started to warm up after 10-15 minutes, but took the full 30 to feel like my temp was stable again. I guess i should've dressed a little warmer, but it felt so nice when I left that I didn't realize it would be an issue.
Regardless, it felt good to be out for so long, even if the Honda does funky things to my hip/spine. I really need to get the new bike out of storage soon. The police don't seem to be pulling people over around here for traveling, so I should be good to get some longer rides in once it warms up a bit more.
