I've been slacking on the running program - too many days between/not sticking to the schedule. I did week3-day2 yesterday (8m run/2 min walk, 3 rds) and it about finished me off. The last 5 minutes were brutal! I may stay at this level for a few more runs until I see some improvement. For that matter, I may also back down one day & try for just a clean, no-walk 1 mile run. Yesterday's route totaled around 2.5 miles, which is kind of crazy to me! Anyway, I'm starting to get to the point of really wanting to get back to weight training, just without going too heavy. Will have to see how my daily recovery keeps up though.
I finally got the shop to come by and pick up the Indian for winter storage. Now I just need to get the Honda out for my December ride before it snows again. Maybe I'll do that today, if the weather is clear?
Oh yeah, and not that I'm aiming for it, but I haven't had a drink now in 3 months. It's difficult getting used to not going out to socialize, and to be honest, I've had a few days where I really wanted one, but I feel like I'm still having inflammation issues, and alcohol is only going to make that worse. It would be really nice to just go out for a beer again & catch up with people I know, though.
I write that, but then I think, "You know what? They have my contact info, why do they not bother getting in touch?". On second thought, fuck them! lol
