Been trying to get the motivation to play guitar again, and have done so a few times in the last week, but my fretting fingers hurt from not having done so in a long time. Still, I've played maybe 5-6 days in the last couple weeks, so that's a bit better. Also out of practice with singing, but I think that will come back more quickly.
As an aside, I found out more info regarding my hip positioning, and realized I'd been under the wrong assumption for the last... 20 years? Anyway, based on the new information, I've modified my focus while sitting at work, to guide them back to a healthier, more functional alignment, and would you believe, I actually feel good for a change? I mean, my right hip isn't hurting (even during my running), and the rest of my spine issues have lessened quite a bit. I'll be so relieved if this is actually the solution to my (almost) lifelong back issues! I'm going to keep an eye on it, so to speak, for the next few weeks and see if there are any other changes I might need to do, but I'm cautiously optimistic!
