First off, yes, I posted, then deleted another entry. I realized this morning that I shared more than I'm currently comfortable doing, so I copied it out & deleted the entry, although I still have it saved. Maybe I'll post it again sometime.
Secondly, I tried going to bed last night without taking a sleep aid. Was back up within the hour as I was wide awake. Only took one, but it never kicked in and I was mostly awake all night, making today a drag.
Thirdly, I mentioned having begun online Japanese lessons (which are still going well), but I think I failed to mentioned that maybe a month or two ago, I also seriously started learning to code HTML/CSS/Javascript too, in order to learn how to build web pages. There's a non-profit offering online classes for free, and when you complete sections, you can apparently request that they review your work and if it's sufficient, they'll award you a certificate. I've completed three of the five sections needed on 'Responsive Web Design', and plan on finishing the other two by the end of August. If I do, I may be able to test out of classes for the college cert.? Will have to determine that soon.
That's it, really. I mean, obviously there's more, but I'm going to try to avoid all that for a bit - I'm just as tired of writing about it as you likely are of reading about it.
Edit to add: I was just thinking about all the things I'm currently learning. It always seems like I'm never doing anything & have no life, but I'm currently learning/improving in:
... that's a lot more than I realized. I guess maybe I shouldn't be quite so hard on myself...
