I'm getting a bit burned out, mentally.
I started tracking everything Jan 4th - daily calories eaten, expended, and daily morning weigh-ins. Like Flood, I'm trying to focus on bringing my weight down. I've set my workouts to be relatively consistent, too... Monday through Thursday, medium-rep range sets, Saturday, strongman-style. The weekday workouts take about an hour, the Saturday one takes almost two, but it's fun! Anyway, I've dropped running/walking for now, as I'm staying between 700-900 calories under maintenance every day, and I feel like I'll burn out or not recover well enough if I do too much.
My weight has been fluctuating a lot, but overall, I'm down around 5 lbs in 3 weeks (started at 220lbs). My goal is to keep at it for at least 3-4 more months, possibly adding walking back into the mix next month sometime. No overall weight goal (as it depends on whether I'm adding muscle or not, although I'd like to get under 200lbs) but have taken beginning body measurements, and will also judge by how my clothes fit/how I feel, and how I look in the mirror. So far, I'm liking the (minor) improvements!
Oh, and I've still got my Duolingo Japanese streak going - 161 days in a row!
