Having missed most of my workouts the last two weeks, I should have known better than to go to strongman today. Didn't really warm up much, tried an axle clean & press, got it too far back on my chest & fell over backwards into one of the tractor tires, the bar landed on my stomach. Couldn't get up for a few minutes because I was sure I'd herniated something, but I'm pretty sure it's just a lower abdominal strain (although my thoracic spine is also out of whack in 2-3 places). I'm gonna be sore tomorrow, & probably the next day or two as well. Hopefully my back isn't too messed up either.
The new guys that are out training with Adams are a lot closer to his strength than I am, and I really think I should just stop going until I can keep up somewhat. I backed off of strength training a while back to try to gain some mass, but I'm really doing nothing but spinning my wheels now. Really frustrating. It's so hard to find motivation when you have no support, no encouragement, etc. It's all on me, and I pretty much suck.
