Feels like I'm going to just have to get used to numbness/tingling on my arm/face. I can't take not lifting/working out anymore. Still can't press/bench, so I'll have to stick to back/deads and carry-type workouts, along with the running. This weekend, I'm going to look for a new mattress, even if I have to put the damn thing on the floor. Then I'm going to have to get rid of my dad's chair. It's horrible ergonomically, and quite possibly one of the major contributors to my lack of recovery. It makes me sad though, because it's one of the only things of my dad's I have left. Once I get the futon in the spare room as a couch, I won't have any room for the chair anymore, so it's going to have to go. I'm going to *try* to get it up in the (loft?) area upstairs, but I really don't think it will fit up the stairwell.
I really was hoping to get away for the 3 day weekend coming up, but I can't think of anywhere to go. I thought about riding up to the bring along the coast, but it'd end up being around an 8hr ride & I wouldn't know where to stay. A few people I know have recently had some bad issues with hotels (bedbug infestations) and I guess I'm a bit creeped out by the thought. If I kept my trip to 3-4 hrs, I could just make a long day of it, but still, not sure where to go. Destinations are a lot more fun when there are people to hang with...
